An update from Malta

For a little over two weeks I've been to St. Julian's in Malta, studying English for a month (hence the inactivity here). So far, almost everything's been great – there's hardly a cloud in the sky and the people that I've met are friendly (except the drunks that can be found in crowded clubs). I spend my time in class, basking by the beach/pool and hanging out with friends.

This the first time that I'm traveling abroad alone, without friends or family. Although I don't feel homesick, I do miss Swedish candy and being able to cook my own food (since we don't have a kitchen in the residence).

I'll return with more updates later.
