Last week, my friend William Wikner and I started our own publication on Medium. It's called The Culture Point, and it's a place for our musings on everything related to pop culture: literature, movies, music and games.

We're far from the first to use Medium as a place for pop cultural reflections, but what sets The Culture Point apart is that we place these things in a wider context. My latest article revolves around Drive-by Truckers' latest album and today's polarized politics in America.

Last week's articles was about how Nick Cave's latest embodies the sound of grief and how a book on human evolution can rewire one's brain. William and I will publish two articles a week.
